What's fun to know
In 1945 the second world war was finally ending. The year after, 1946, a well dressed gentlemen steps into a watch shop with his wallet full of banknotes. He looks carefully at all the wathces behind the glass until he finds what he likes - a 33mm Longines in steel case. Did he buy this watch to celebrate the ending of the war? Did he buy this watch after he had a salary raise or as a gift to someone else? We don't know! But, what we do know is that this piece of history would have much to say if it could talk!
Compagnie des Montres Longines Francillon S.A., or simply Longines is a Swiss luxury watchmaker based in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, founded by Auguste Agassiz in 1832. Longines winged hourglass logo, which was registered in 1889, is the oldest unchanged yet still active registered trademark.

What we want you to know
Dial: Factory original dial. The shows signs from ageing and patina as seen in the photos. The hands is original but misses some lume in them.
Case: The case has got some signs of wear, especially at the case back. Since we want all our watches to be as autentical as possible we never polish our watches. We leave that decision to the buyer.
Bracelet/Strap: The watch got a used, black leather strap that fits it nicely.
Service history: The movement is serviced and under warranty under 6 months from date of purchase.
